How We Started
Richard King Haulage was formed on the 12th of December 1989 and became a Limited company in 2002 and now operates with up to 18 vehicles.
From their office that is based in Chorley, Lancashire the company is engaged in a variety of work from Container, Dry – Ambient Haulage to traction only shift for various distribution centres.
Our main depot where our fleet is based is Trafford Park and most of our work is out of Hull, Killingholme and Greater Manchester delivering to most of the UK.
OUR FLEET
We have been serving the Lancashire community since 1998. We specialize in containers movements from most UK ports to anywhere in the UK, refrigerated transport mainly from the northwest but are always looking for new opportunities and also traction only shifts to anywhere from the northwest, we offer quality and reliable service you can count on. In addition, our friendly and professional staff is here to answer any questions you may have about our company or our services.
Since 1989
The first wagon purchased was in 1989, a Scania 143 which the company still owns, and is now in the process of getting restored.
Richard King Haulage only purchases new trucks and their current fleet consists of 13 Scania’s, 4 Volvo’s and 1 Mercedes, the oldest running truck being a 2011 R-series 620 Scania. To suit their diverse range of contracts, the company has a mixture of trailers including fridge’s and skeletal’s.
